Refunds and Return/Exchange Policy

If for any reason you are not 100% happy with your purchase please look over the following conditions and contact us at: tasmaniasouthlight@gmail.com

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, which forms Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (ACL). If you are an Australian consumer for the purposes of the ACL, you are entitled to replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. 

Nothing in these terms excludes any right, guarantee or warranty you’re entitled to by law, however we do exclude all other guarantees, conditions and warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. We also specifically exclude liability for negligence. 

Change of Heart

As all products sold by Tasmania South Light are made with heart and sole, unfortunately we do not offer refunds or exchange due to change of heart.

Returns and exchange options are only applicable at our sole discretion.

No returns or exchanges will be offered for ‘specialty’ made to order products.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

Where an item is found to be faulty within the first 48 hours after delivery or is already damaged on delivery, and the customer notifies Tasmania South Light of that fault within the first 48 hours after delivery, then Tasmania South Light will either:

  • Replace or Repair the faulty Good at our discretion; or
  • If we are unable to provide a new replacement, Tasmania South Light has the option to offer a full or partial refund dependant on the amount of damage to the product.
  • Where a new replacement is available, and the customer elects to receive a refund instead of a replacement, the refund will be for the amount of the purchase price excluding the initial & return delivery cost.

If your item arrives with clear and noticeable damage to its packaging please take photographic evidence and bring to attention of delivery driver/provider. Where Goods are already damaged on delivery, Tasmania South Light requires photographic evidence of the damage to be e-mailed to tasmaniasouthlight@gmail.com before authorising return of the Goods. Where Goods are already damaged on delivery, the customer should indicate this to the delivery driver when signing the proof of delivery and ensure it is noted on the proof of delivery.

Tasmania South Light reserves sole discretion to determine whether the Goods are faulty or damaged in accordance with this policy.

Tasmania South Light may seek reimbursement of any costs incurred by us if the Product is found to be in good working order.

Resin Products

There are sometimes small imperfections within the resin, which do not impose on the overall look of the artwork. This is simply a product of the hand-crafted look of the artwork we produce. Please ensure you understand this prior to purchasing a resin art piece as we will not accept returns on this basis.

Sometimes on the internet, various devices and screens make colours look a slightly lighter or darker than they really are.  We do our absolute best to showcase our beautiful colours by using natural light and minimum filters when we photograph them, but we cant guarantee how it actually appears on your screen.
